Here are a few recent pictures that show what the kids have been up to lately:
Christopher is going through a phase where he loves to build and create cool contraptions. This picture below is something I see every day- he loves to connect things and tie things together and then explains to me what his machines do. He certainly gets that interest and talent from his dad, not me!
Chris and I aren't nearly as fun (no offense, Chris!). He is still super busy at work and just got back last week from a business trip to the mid-west where he visited 5 different suppliers and whipped them into shape (very nicely and professionally), showing them ways they can improve their process and follow welding procedures correctly, and is totally making a huge difference in his company. He is well-liked and admired at work and is awesome at what he does! The kids and I sure missed him though! Christopher cried every day, missing his daddy. (And since then has said probably 15-20 times a day, "I just want Daddy.")
I'm just plugging along, feeling much larger this far along in my pregnancy than my other two (sorry, no pictures!!), but feeling fine. The main effects I've noticed have been mentally. The other day at the grocery store I had Cream of Chicken soup and Tomato Soup on my list for different recipes that week. Well, when I got home, imagine my dismay to pull out neither of those, but instead Bean with Bacon and Cheddar Cheese soups. Sick, right?! (I later saw they both were placed right next to the soups I wanted). And then last week I came home with a delicious looking ice cream, only to find out it is coffee flavored! Thanks to previous experience doing exchanges for a family I worked for, I had no problem taking all 3 items back and exchanging them for what I initially wanted! But besides these little mishaps, the pregnancy and everything else is going well for me.
Here is a little movie taken today that shows typical Christopher and Brooklyn play. Enjoy!

They are so cute! Can't wait to see you guys next week:)
And to see your pregnant self in person.
And hooray for the family that taught you how to exchange things. I'm too chicken---I probly would've thrown it out and felt sorry for myself.
Brooklyn is getting soo big!!
K, I laughed out loud about the soups, that is hilarious! And I second Barb in the hooray for that family and what we have learned. Your kids are adorable and Brooklyn just has the happiest eyes! She has such a sweet happy face and is getting so old!
What fun pictures! I love that you exchanged those items. I would've thrown them out and then been bitter. Yours sounds like a better idea. I'll see you next week - YAY!
Thanks for sharing the cute photos & the video is pretty funny. I love their darling personalities. I can't believe how big they are getting. You're a great mom. I can't wait to see you all again.
Okay, I died laughing when I read the soup thing! That is so hilarious AND disgusting - I wondered briefly what you could possibly do with them and was happy you were able to return them. Yay for the awesome "family" who taught us that many more things are returnable than you'd think. The video is adorable too. Love those two cuties! Miss you guys!
