A Few More Days...

Our family of four will become five in just a couple of days. I will be getting induced on Thursday, so unless our little guy (still unnamed) decides to come early, that is when we will get to meet him!  Christopher is really excited for him to be born, and although I don't think Brooklyn understands that we will be bringing a baby home, she is obsessed with babies right now and I'm sure will go crazy over him!
Here is a quick update on each of us: Brooklyn is quite a little busy body. She's very fun and energetic but has a very stubborn and persistent little streak. She's picking up on a lot of words and copies pretty much everything Christopher does. (She calls him "Tipper" which we love!)  Another cute thing is whenever someone coughs or sneezes or anything like that, she asks, "K?" and is always concerned that we're ok.
Christopher is as smart, curious, inquisitive and funny as ever but keeps us on our toes! The other night I was gone and Chris told me that when he told Christopher he needed to finish his broccoli if he wanted a treat, Christopher burst out laughing and said "You kidding me, Daddy! I not going to finish my broccoli" like it was the biggest joke in the world.  Another day when Christopher was supposed to be going to the bathroom but was taking forever, Chris told him to hurry up. Christopher's response was "You have to have patience. It takes HOURS for tinkles to go through my bones. See Daddy? Hours."
Chris is still keeping busy at work and doing well there but also enjoying (or patiently agreeing to do) projects at home. We're enjoying seeing our house get more and more put together each week. He also joined a local soccer team and will start playing soon, so that should be fun.
I'm obviously mainly just getting ready for the baby. I didn't realize I was nesting until Chris mentioned it, but he was so right. I totally have lists each day of things to accomplish to get the house, baby materials, and myself ready for the big day. It's a good thing the baby hasn't come early because I still don't have a 'hospital bag' packed.
We have tried to make the most of our last couple of weeks with just the two kids and have enjoyed going to Chris' work party, an Angel's game, swimming at Chris' parents' and fun evenings at home like shown below. We'll be excited to have a new little Waldron in the next post!

I was just going to text you and asked if the baby was here yet. I am excited for you! Take all the time you can to prepare for another baby. 3 kids is harder than 2 but you'll get used to it quickly! Love you guys!

Okay, Christopher is so funny! I love his way of saying things, especially the toilet comment. Too funny! Can't wait to meet your sweet, little guy!

So, Did you have the baby? I don't seem to have your phone number anymore and I was hoping to hear that all is well. Hope to hear about the new arrival in the near future.
