This blog update is long overdue, and I have a ton I could write about, but I'll keep this somewhat short. Since our last post, we have had the baby blessing, a move to southern California, great visits with family and friends... and our baby is now one month old. Chris is doing an internship at his dad's work with the welding engineer, and we are living with his family in Fountain Valley (right by Huntington Beach). We are enjoying being with family and are loving the great weather.
My family is spread all across the world this summer- Chrissy and Kevin currently in Hawaii on vacation, David and Heather (and Taylor) in Ukraine for an internship, Marie on BYU ballroom tour back east, Becky at BYU-Idaho, and the rest in Utah. It's weird that we're all spread so far apart, but it makes me grateful for e-mail, cell phones, and Skype.
Christopher is just as cute as ever and I love being with him all day. He is a very good baby and doesn't cry much. He is very sweet and calm and easy. He did great on the drive down to CA and even does pretty well during the nights. I sometimes take naps during the day or sleep in, and that helps too. Chris is a great help and is really good with the baby. Here are some pictures taken over the last couple of weeks:
This is of course what he spends most of his time doing-
He doesn't get his thumb in his mouth very often, but I think it's very cute when he does!
Just chillin with Dad. Sometimes I forget how tiny he is until I see a picture like this.
I know this picture is sideways, but I'm having issues trying to fix it and am giving up. You can still see how cute he is though!
I think this picture is hilarious! I love his eyes, but he looks way more chubby in this picture than I think he really is.
We have gotten a couple of little smiles from him, so hopefully we'll be able to get pictures of that soon! I have more pictures I want to post, especially of the blessing, but I need to get those pictures (they are on another camera) so keep posted! I won't let a whole month go by before I do it either!

Cute! I have checked your blog tons of times the last month just so I didn't miss the next update, and with all that has happened the last few days, I barely looked again! He is adorable, and we can't wait to see him in a week!!! I can't believe how much hair he has either - I always thought I was "brushing" April's hair, but now I'm convinced there wasn't really anything to brush until she was at least 9 months old. What a cutie he is!
Sara! I'm so glad I found your blog! It's been a while! It's great to hear that the cute little guy is finally here! He's adorable! I'm so excited for you guys! I'll have to put a link to your blog on mine so we can keep it touch! Have a good day!

First off--I'm really glad you have a blog. Really glad.
Your baby is so dang cute, and I'm not the least surprised that you're saying he's a easy child. You would get one of those:) Hope life in CA is good. I'm sorry I'm crummy at keeping in touch---but hopefully we can be better with blogs. Actually...I just got an idea for a post that involves pictures we're less than crazy about:) It'll be awhile till it comes...but keep your eyes open!
